Introduction
The Department of Early Childhood Development and Education of Chaoyang University of Technology was established in 1996. Based on the spirit of “Children and Youth Welfare Act” and “the Preschool Education Law”, this department is aimed to nurture child care workers and professionals in related industries to become physically and mentally healthy, devoted to their profession, and knowledgeable in early child hood education and care. The department currently offers a four-year undergraduate program and a master's degree program in the day division; a four-year undergraduate program, a two-year undergraduate program (recruitment of new students is terminated in 2009), and an in-service master's degree program in the evening division.
The Department and Graduate Institute satisfies all standards for accreditation and is dully accreditied by the Council(Accreditation valid from Jul 1,2020 to Jun 30,2026)
